CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The 2023-24 All-American Scholar Team was announced earlier this week, per the WGCA. Nearly 1,500 women's collegiate golfers from over 400 programs were included on the esteemed list of academic and athletic stars. Amber Henson, Erika Holmberg, and Julie Huggins represented the Bulldogs.
 
Holmberg led the team with a perfect 4.00 GPA in English and Secondary Education. Henson and Huggins, both Finance majors, posted grade points averages of 3.53 and 3.83, respectively.
 
The WGCA All-American Scholar Team features strict criteria that demonstrate high-level academic and athletic achievement. To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur on the team's roster through the conclusion of the season, and played in at least 50 percent of the team's scheduled rounds.
