DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University football program has set its promotional game themes and celebrations for 2024 home football contests, the team announced this morning.

Aug. 29 – Quincy – Camper Reunion | Spike's Kids Club Day | PFL Champion Banner Reveal | PFL Champion Poster Giveaway
Sept. 28 – San Diego – Homecoming | Blue Out | Faculty & Staff Appreciation | Parents & Family Weekend | 2024 Team Poster Giveaway
Nov. 2 – Marist – Heroes Day (Veterans & First Responders Appreciation)
Nov. 16 – Morehead State – Senior Day
 
SCHEDULE DETAILS
The 2024 season will kick off on Aug. 29 with a Thursday-night home game against Quincy. The Bulldogs will host their annual Camper Reunion game and Spike's Kids Club Day vs. the Hawks. Drake will also be revealing their 2023 Pioneer Football League Champions banner and give away a PFL Championship Poster. Fans can also enjoy a free fireworks show following the conclusion of the game.
 
Drake's next home tilt comes on Sept. 28 vs. San Diego. The Toreros will come to Des Moines as part of Homecoming Weekend. Fans are encouraged to wear blue as part of the Bulldogs' "Blue Out". The San Diego game will also serve as the university Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day and Parents & Family Weekend. Fans will also have the chance to go home with a 2024 team poster.
 
Drake will then host Butler for its next home game on Oct. 12.
 
The calendar turns to November with another home matchup for the Bulldogs. Marist will come to Iowa's capital city on Nov. 2 as the Drake community will celebrate Heroes Day honoring military veterans and first responders.
 
Drake's home schedule will conclude on Nov. 16 when Morehead State travels to Des Moines. The Bulldogs will honor their 2024-25 graduates with Senior Day vs. the Eagles.
