ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Missouri Valley conference has released the schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season, the league announced this afternoon.
For the Bulldogs, MVC action will tentatively begin for the second straight year on the road at Valparaiso with a matchup on Dec. 4. Then Drake will return to Des Moines for the conference home opener on Dec. 29 versus Belmont.
As the calendar turns to 2025, MVC play resumes on New Years Day, Jan. 1, with the Bulldogs taking a trip to the Windy City to take on UIC. A home contest with Murray State will follow on Jan. 5.
Drake heads to Bradley on Jan. 18 followed back-to-back home games at the Knapp Center with Evansville (Jan. 11) and Illinois State (Jan. 15). To close out January, the Bulldogs have road games against Indiana State (Jan. 18) and Missouri State (Jan. 25) and a pair of home games with Valpo (Jan. 22) and in-state rival Northern Iowa (Jan. 29).
February commences with the Bulldogs on the road heading first to Carbondale, Ill., for a date with Southern Illinois on Feb. 1 followed by another road contest for a rematch against the Racers of Murray State on Feb. 4.
Indiana State makes its way to Iowa's capital city on Feb. 8 and then Drake heads out to Normal, Ill., to face the Redbirds of Illinois State (Feb.12) The Bulldogs end February with a homestand playing host to Bradley (Feb. 16) and UIC (Feb. 19) followed by the final road trip of the season to UNI (Feb. 23) and Evansville (Feb. 26). The regular season finale will be held at the Knapp Center on March 2 versus Missouri State.
The Missouri Valley Conference Tournament will take place from March 6-9 in St. Louis, Mo., at the Enterprise Center.
