Bloomington, Ind. — Indiana men's tennis defeated Drake 7-0 at the Hoosiers' home courts. With the loss, Drake fell to 3-6 while Indiana improved to 7-0.

The Hoosiers won the doubles point to open the match, securing victories on the second and third doubles courts 6-1 and 6-0. Despite the swift defeat in doubles, back-to-back Summit League Peak Team of the Week
Ben Johnson and
Will Ecklund were tied 3-3 in the top singles position when their match was abandoned.
Indiana won the first four singles matches in straight sets. Ecklund and
Logan Tomovski, however, both won a set in their matches. Tomovski battled against Karan Raghavendra on the No. 5 singles court, narrowly losing the first set in a tiebreaker. Tomovski rallied back to win the second set 6-3 but was ultimately defeated in the third set tiebreaker. Ecklund also lost the first set in his match against Nikola Kolyachev on the No. 6 singles court but won the second set 6-2. The match was close in the final tiebreaker, but Kolyachev edged out Ecklund to win 16-14.
