Drake women's golf returns to action for first tournament of Fall 2025

The Basics
The Drake women's golf team will be back on the course for its first event of the 2025 fall season with the Redbird Invitational, Sep. 7-8. The event, hosted by Missouri Valley Conference counterpart Illinois State, will be held at Weibring Golf Club and see teams play 54-holes over three days.

About the Course
Weibring Golf Course is the home track of Illinois State and was designed in 1962 by golf course architect Robert Bruce Harris. The course opened in May 1964 and went under extensive renovations back in 2000. The course will score as a par 72 and measure in at 6,093 yards for the tournament.

Up Next
The Bulldogs will take to the course next at the Lady Clerico, hosted by Oral Roberts, Sep. 15-16. Drake will travel down to Tulsa, Oklahoma for the event and tee it up from Hillcrest Country Club.
