The Basics
Drake rowing returns to the water this weekend as it heads up north to Minneapolis, Minnesota for the Head of the Mississippi event. The Bulldogs will look to repeat their strong showing from the Head of the Des Moines last weekend when they race this Saturday.

Coach Dawson Shyne-Appignani on the Head of the Mississippi
"Returning to the Head of the Mississippi this year will be an important steppingstone as our young team continues to gain racing experience at their first 5k head race. With novices beginning to mix into our varsity eights, I am looking forward to seeing how the team responds to the competition internally and against outside rivals. I also expect to see a strong showing from our Novice 8 racing in a true collegiate novice event this week."
