The Basics
Drake rowing returns to home waters this weekend as it welcomes Creighton to the Bright-Beckwith Boathouse. The two teams will begin competing at 9 a.m. in a best of three 500meter scrimmage for each race in two separate flights with three categories of boats in those flights.

Coach Dawson Shyne-Appignani on the Race
"With the boathouse lit up with jack-o-lanterns, the Bulldogs are in full Halloween spirit for our scrimmage with Creighton. It's always great to have an opportunity to race on our home water against strong crews, and we are looking to cap off a productive fall with performances that set up our young team well for winter training. We are also excited to celebrate with a cookout for our families, friends, and alumni after the racing concludes, so we hope to see plenty of Bulldog fans lining Prospect Park."
