ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Senior Amber Henson of Drake women's golf has been tabbed as the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced.

Henson began her spring season with an impressive outing at the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate earlier this week and finished in solo fifth place. She helped lead the Bulldogs to a tied for third result as a team and was consistent over her three rounds of play with rounds of 71-72-70 for a total score of even par, 213.

Her total score of 213 is the Marshalltown, Iowa natives best 54-hole score of the 2025-26 season and her final round score of 1-under, 70 was her lowest 18-hole score of the season. This is the fifth time that Henson has recorded a top-10 result in her career.

Drake will be back on the course for the Babs Steffens Invitational, Feb. 23-24, from DeBary Country Club in DeBary, Florida.
