ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drake women's basketball senior Taedyn Gray was included as one of 11 recipients of the 2025-26 State Farm MVC Good Neighbor Award winners for the winter sports season, the league announced.
 
Gray, a forward on the Bulldog women's hoops team, is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication Public Relations. She was named to the Drake University Dean's List thrice including Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Fall 2025.
 
The Lenexa, Kansas native has also been active in the Des Moines community. She is an active volunteer with the local Boys & Girls Club and has previous volunteer experience with the Miracle League of Urbandale, UnityPoint Health Cancer Center, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and ChildServe. At UnityPoint, she also participated in the Hospital Elder Life Program. Her community service efforts continued at The Arbordale senior living facility and Drake's own Books with Bulldogs effort.
