MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Drake women's tennis went on the road to get its 2026 fall slate underway. The Bulldogs were part of a talented field at Minnesota's Gopher Invitational.

Overall, the Dogs posted 7-4 record on the weekend. Miranda Noor and Ash Narker went a perfect 2-0 in singles in their respective Bulldog debuts.

In doubles play, Noor and Narker went 1-1 as a duo with a 6-0 win over UNI's Yangjiaxin Li and Andrea Noa Galin and 6-4 loss to Lucia Yecora and Natalia Varela Herrera of Northern Illinois. Narker also split a pair of doubles contests alongside Jordane Dookie. That twosome was victorious over UNI's Li and Abbie Peterson (6-2) and suffered a shortcoming to St. Thomas' Emilia Korseth and Caroline Lindahl (6-1).

Noor was also paired with Minnesota's Leina Gao in an intersquad doubles bout. That duo beat the team of UNI's Kayla Santoso and Milwaukee's Honoka Yamashita by a 6-2 tally. Noor then beat Gao in singles action (6-1, 6-1) and earned another solo W over Maria Poon of Marquette (6-4, 6-1).

Narker's two singles wins came over Korseth (6-1, 6-2) and Minnesota's Anali Kocevar (6-1, 7-6).

Dookie dropped her two solo fixtures. Her win came against Lindahl by a 7-6(3), 7-6(3) score. She was also beaten by NIU's Rebecca Garcia Miralles (6-2, 6-3).

The Bulldogs will be back in action at the Redbird Invitational from October 2-4 hosted by fellow MVC squad Illinois State University in Normal.
