Drake University Athletics

Former Drake University halfback Conner Furu will serve as an offensive student assistant for the 2021 season. 

Furu, who completed his Drake playing career in the spring of 2021, was a member of the football team for four seasons. He battled injuries in his career but played in his final game in uniform when the Bulldogs hosted Presbyterian in the season finale in the spring of 2021.

Furu is from Black Hills, Wash. and is studying psychology at Drake.
