Tanner Ash joined the Drake coaching staff in May 2025 as an outside linebackers coach but is transitioning to running backs coach and coordinator of player development for the 2026 season.
Ash will be taking over a rushing unit that posted a dominant 197.9 yards per game to go along with 23 touchdowns in 2025. The Bulldogs led the Pioneer Football League in both total team rushing yards and rushing yards per game, while starting running back Nick Herman individually topped the conference in those same categories.
Ash is from Warren, New Jersey, and played Safety at Kean University from 2020-2024, receiving all-NJAC honors for the Spring of 2021.
