Three-year squad member...wrote a blog for The Des Moines Register during the team's May 2011 trip to Tanzania.

2010 — Played in one game (vs. Marist, 10/2)...named Special Teams Scout Player of the Year at Channing Smith banquet.

2009 — Did not see game action.

2008 — Redshirted.

Prep — Helped lead St. Thomas Aquinas High School to Kansas Class 5A district titles from 2005-07...earned all-league honors as junior and senior...was league and regional champ at 215 pounds as senior wrestler.

Personal — Creative writing and psychology major...named to 2008, 2009 and 2010 Pioneer Football League Fall Academic Honor Roll...son of Della Smith...born Oct. 12, 1989.
