High School — Earned second team all-league honors as senior at Ankeny High School, while averaging 10.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.1 steals...also earned academic all-conference honors as both junior and senior...had season-high 22 points, including four three-point baskets, vs. Des Moines North as senior...also netted 17 points vs. Southeast Polk and Ames.

Personal — Pharmacy major...born Zach Thomas Egli on Nov. 14, 1984 in Des Moines, Iowa...father is Tom Egli and mother is Jane Egli...father lettered in basketball at Drake from 1976-78 as well as football in 1978...has sister: Katie (22) who played basketball at Simpson College...high school coach: John Petersen.
