ST. LOUIS, MO -- For the sixth and seventh time this season a Drake men's soccer player has received Brine/MVC Player of the Week Honors.

Junior defender Julien Edwards (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada/De La Salle) received his second defensive honor after leading a Drake defense that allowed two combined goals in wins at Wisconsin, 3-1, and at MVC opponent Evansville, 4-1, last week.

Garrett Webb (Prairie Village, Kan./Shawnee Mission East), a junior forward, was named the Brine/MVC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a career-high three goals in the 4-1 win at Evansville and collecting one assist in the 3-1 win at Wisconsin.

The Bulldogs are set to compete in the MVC Tournament, facing the winner of Missouri State and Eastern Illinois Friday (Nov. 14) at a time to be determined. The tournament will be held at Arad McCutchan Stadium on the University of Evansville campus in Evansville, Ind.
