NORMAN, OKLA. ? Sophomore Elena Leon (West Des Moines, Iowa) ended the Drake softball team's five inning hitting drought with a single to center field in the Bulldogs' 8-0, loss to Oklahoma in their second game at the Oklahoma/Worth Invitational Saturday.

The Sooners jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning before scoring three more runs in the sixth and notching their eighth in the seventh frame.

Leon's hit was the Bulldogs only of the game, but they were able to have five runners reach base.

Drake freshman Brynne Dordel (Chanhassen, Minn.) notched four strike outs while taking her third loss (5-3).

The Bulldogs return to action at the Oklahoma/Worth Invitational at 11 a.m. Sunday facing McNeese State before getting another shot at the Sooners at 1:15 p.m.
