COLUMBIA, MO. - The Drake women's tennis team completed its stay at the Missouri Invitational on Sunday (Sept. 14) as senior Sarah Plowman (Halifax, Nova Scotia/Halifax Grammar) and freshman Jessica Aguilera (Santa Cruz, Bolivia/Saint George School) turned in a pair of runner-up finishes in singles competition.

In the “B” singles draw, Aguilera was bested 6-2, 6-1, by Sofia Ayala on Missouri.

Kaitlin Dunham of Missouri bettered Plowman in the “C” title match, 6-1, 6-1.

Drake returns to the court on Sept. 26 as the Bulldogs host the Drake Fall Invitational (Sept. 26-28).
