IOWA CITY, IOWA - Senior Olivia Lansing tied for fourth overall to pace the Drake women's golf team at the Hawkeye Invitational Sunday.
Lansing finished with a 77-75-75=227 on the Finkbine Golf Course, just three strokes behind Stacey Miller of Illinois State who captured individual honors with a 77-73-74=224.
The Bulldogs placed eighth in the 13-team field with a 311-319-316=946. Missouri State won the championship with a 298-320-296=914.
Drake junior Michelle Mathwick (Greenfield, Wis.) tied for 19th with a 76-79-81=236
Drake senior Kelly Godwin (Centerville, Minn.) tied for 39th with a 77-82-82=241.
Drake senior Elena Vukmir (Wauwatosa, Wis.) finished 57th at 81-83-83=247, while senior Amanda Vogt (Melbourne, Iowa) was 62nd with an 89-83-78=250.
