GRINNELL, IOWA -- Drake sophomore Molly Scott won the women's pole vault at the Dick Young Classic Saturday, soaring 10 feet 6 inches.
Drake freshman Megan Pierce-Cramer (Omaha, Neb.) was second in the discus with a throw of 139 feet six inches. She also finished second in the shot put at 41-10.75. Junior Deidra Dirth (Apple Valley, Minn.) was third in the discus at 133-0.
Sophomore Clarissa LaFlora (Kewanee, Ill.) was third in the women's 800 (2:18.05) and fourth in the 200 (26.94). Sophomore Tara Laferrara (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) was seventh in the 200 in 27.80.
Drake freshman Erika Sevigny (Olathe, Kan.) was seventh in the shot put (39-5). Freshman Autumn Moore (Quaker City, Ohio) was seventh in the women's hammer throw (123-9) and ninth in the women's discus (111-3).
Drake senior Andy Bryant (St. Louis, Mo.) tied for fourth in the men's pole vault at 13-11.25, while freshman Eric hall (Des Moines, Iowa) was eighth in the men's 110 hurdles (16.73) and ninth in the long jump (20-5).
