INDIANOLA, IOWA - Sophomore Cambria Pardner (Aurora, Colo.) captured the women's triple jump to highlight action for the Drake men's and women's track and field teams at the annual Kip Janvrin Open Friday at Simpson College.
Pardner leaped 37 feet 3 inches. Freshman Megan Pierce-Cramer (Omaha, Neb.) was second in the women's discus at 139-6, while junior teammate Deidra Dirth (Apple Valley, Minn.) was fourth at 138-7.
Drake sophomore Molly Scott (Kansas City, Mo.) was third in the women's pole vault at 10-11.75. Drake sophomore Clarissa LaFlora (Kewanee, Ill.) was fifth in the women's 800 in 2:19.33.
In the men's division, Drake senior Zach Bales-Henry (Des Moines, Iowa) was seventh in the 3,000 steeplechase in 10:06.85, with sophomore teammate Colin Coomer (Overland Park, Kan.) ninth in 10:13.40.
Drake sophomore Brandon Lewis (Plymouth, Minn.) was eighth in the 800 in 1:55.81, while freshman Matt Jurysta (Oshawa, Ontario, Canada) was ninth in 1:56.13.
