CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Achieving
academic success has been a cornerstone for the Drake women's golf team and
seniors Michelle Mathwick
(Greenfield, Wis./Whitnall) and Kaitlyn Mauk (West Des Moines, Iowa/Valley) and freshman Hadley Jennings (Trenton, Mo./Trenton) were rewarded with their
inclusion on the
National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Teams for Division I.
"Michelle (Mathwick),
Kaitlyn (Mauk) and Hadley (Jennings) are a testament to the kind of
student-athletes we recruit at Drake," Bulldog head coach Leanne Smith commented.
"We are all so proud of their accomplishments both on the course and in
the classroom."
Tabbed to the squad for the third time during her Drake career was Mathwick,
who boasts a 3.92 grade point average in accounting and marketing. She finished
her final campaign as a Bulldog registering a scoring average of 78.3 for 27
rounds this year. She posted a team-best 17 rounds in the 70s, including

Mauk and Jennings are both first-time recipients of the honor and
