MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The 43rd-ranked Drake men's tennis extended its winning streak to 12 straight, outlasting Marquette, 4-3, on Sunday (March 4).

In doubles, the Bulldogs earned decisions at the Nos. 2 and 3 positions, with the duo of juniors Anis Ghorbel (Sfax, Tunisia) and James McKie (Edinburgh, Scotland) securing the deciding tally with an 8-3 victory over Jose Crowley and Vukasin Teofanovic at No. 2.

After a Marquette triumph at the No. 2 singles slot, Drake netted three-straight triumphs to clinch the deciding point in the affair.

Sophomore Robin Goodman (Cambridge, England) started the run downing Teofanovic at the No. 4 hole, 7-6 (6), 6-1.

Freshman Alen Salibasic (Tuzla, Bosnia & Herzegovina) followed collecting a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 decision over Jonathan Schwerin on court No. 5.

Earning his second match-clincher in as many outings for the Bulldogs was McKie, who registered a 2-6, 6-1, 6-4 victory past Logon Collins at No. 3.

The Golden Eagles earned victories at the Nos. 1 and 6 positions to account for the final 4-3 outcome.

Drake returns to action traveling to Rochester, Minn., for a 5:00 p.m. tilt at No. 66 Minnesota on Friday (March 9).
