DES MOINES, Iowa - Senior James McKie (Edinburgh, Scotland)
culminated the opening weekend for the Drake men's tennis team capturing a
Drake Fall Invitational championship in the 'F' singles flight on Sunday (Sept.
23) at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
McKie bested Eric Schuemans from Northern Colorado,
6-1, 6-1. The championship was McKie's
second career Drake Fall Invitational crown.
Drake returns to action at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA)
All-American Championships (Sept. 29-Oct. 2) in Tulsa, Okla.
