ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drake University's Madison Glennie was named Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Glennie won medalist honors and led the Bulldogs to a first-place finish overall at the Creighton Classic. It is the first collegiate victory for Glennie and the first individual title for Drake since 2010 when Olivia Lansing won the Saluki Innovational.

Glennie entered the final day tied for first with South Dakota's Brenna Lervick, and fired a tournament-low 72 (E) to finish on top of the leaderboard with a score of 148 (76-72).  

The Creighton Classic marked the final fall tournament for the Bulldogs, as they will begin the spring portion of the season in February.
