EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Drake University women's tennis sophomores Joely Lomas and Kenya Williams advanced to the Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championship finals on Sunday at Evansville, Ind.
 
Lomas defeated Bradley's Natalia Barbery 6-3, 6-4 to move on to the Flight 3 singles championship match. Williams topped Jana Kustkova from Illinois State, 6-3, 7-6 in the Flight 4 semifinals.
 
Tess Herder fell to Southern Illinois' Ana Sofia Cordero, 6-1, 6-4 and will a face off against Illinois State's Veronika Golanova in the Flight 1 singles match.
 
In doubles, Herder and Williams advanced to the Flight 2 championship with a win over Evansville's Yamada and Soldatou, 8-6.
 
The Bulldogs will conclude action at the MVC Individual Championship on Monday.
