DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's golf team is set to play at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship on Sunday (April 17) through Tuesday (April 19).
The 54-hole event hosted by Loyola at the Harborside International Golf Center in Chicago will utilize tee times each of the tournament's three days starting at 9 a.m. The winner of the three-day tournament will advance to the NCAA Regionals.
The Bulldogs were tabbed to finish ninth in MVC pre-championship poll, voted by the league coaches. Drake is led by sophomore
Madison Glennie, who is averaging a team-low 78 per round. Glennie has earned seven top-20 finishes this year with her best performance at the Creighton Classic as she took home the individual title. Freshman
Grace Dunn has had an outstanding start to her young career as she has been the Bulldogs top finisher in four tournaments and holds a 78.5 average over 24 rounds.

The Drake University women's golf team finished in 10th-place at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship with a score of 997 (312-343-342) on Tuesday, April 21.
Senior
Danielle Brooks (Red Wing, Minn.) led the Bulldogs with a score of 244 (78-84-82), good for 28th-place. Freshman
Madison Glennie (Clearwater, Fla.) finished the three-day event with a score of 249 (74-84-91), while junior
Katie Clausen (Hinton, Iowa) was just two shots behind Glennie, carding a 251 (75-89-87). Senior
Ashley Brooks (Red Wing, Minn.) posted a score of 260 (85-86-89), as freshman
Brooke Miller (Pomona, Calif) recorded the second best score of the day for Drake with an 84 for a total of 267 (87-96-84).
