DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's golf team is set to close out the 2017 regular season at the Indiana State Spring Invitational on Sunday-Monday at The Country Club of Terre Haute.
The 36-hole event features 11 teams including; Indiana State (host), Butler, Dayton, Drake, Eastern Illinois, Evansville, Illinois-Springfield, Loyola, Northern Iowa, Western Illinois and William Woods.
The first round will get underway with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. (ET) and then the final round on Monday at 9 a.m. (ET).
Drake enters the weekend with some confidence as the Bulldogs recorded the fourth-best 54-hole score of 900 (300-302-307) in program history and finished runner-up at the Bradley Invitational last weekend.
Sophomore
Grace Dunn finished tied for second-place with a career-best 54-hole total score of 216 (71-70-75). Junior
Madison Glennie joined Dunn in the top-10 by finishing tied for ninth-place with a score of 226 (76-74-76).
Following the ISU Spring Invitational, the Bulldogs will have six days for final preparation before playing at the 54-hole MVC Championship on April 16-18 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
