PEORIA, Ill. - The Drake University men's and women's cross country teams continued their season Friday, Oct. 12, afternoon at the Bradley Pink Classic.

Drake's men finished 12th out of 33 teams. Kyle Brandt (Maple Grove, Minn.) was Drake's top performer, his 25:06.0 in the 8-Kilometer race was good for 25th place out of 273 runners.

Josh Yeager was the next to finish for the Bulldogs in 46th with a time of 25:24.1. Kevin Kelley (Kilcok, Ireland) rounded out an impressive top-three in 60th with a time of 25:36.9.

Drake's women's team placed 32nd out of 39 teams in the field. Olivia Rogers (Centennial, Colo.) had a team-best time of 22:18.3 in the 6-Kilometer race, good for 107th out of 298 runners. Rachel Selva (Columbia, Mo.), 22:40.1, and MyKaela Cole (Urbandale, Iowa), 22:49.5, both finished barely outside the top half coming in 151st and 165th, respectively.

Next up for the Bulldogs is the MVC Championship in Peoria, Ill., on Saturday, Oct. 27.
