FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Drake University softball team travels to Fayetteville, Ark., Feb., 22-24, for the Razorback Invitational hosted by the University of Arkansas.

Drake (5-4) is scheduled to play single games versus Arkansas, IUPUI and SIUE and two games against SEMO. For game times and live stats for each game visit here.

The Bulldogs will look to bounce back from a tough weekend in Auburn, Ala., where it lost three games to Power 5 opponents, Auburn and Texas Tech (2). Drake's offense was held scoreless by the Red Raiders and Tigers and lost the three games by a combined seven runs. The Bulldogs managed just seven hits and stranded 10 baserunners in the games.

Drake is making its fourth trip to Arkansas' (8-1) home tournament since the 2012 season. The teams have played each other seven times since 2012 with the Razorbacks holding a 5-2 advantage. IUPUI (2-8) beat Mount St. Mary's and Morehead State in its last two games after losing the first eight games this season. Drake and SEMO have already played once this season in each team's opening tournament, the UNI-Dome Classic, a game won by the Bulldogs 6-1. Last weekend, SIUE (4-1) started its 2019 campaign at the Lion Classic, where it beat four different opponents, including Missouri State.

Following this weekend in Arkansas, Drake heads west to Tucson, Ariz., Feb. 28-March 3 for six challenging games in the desert. The Bulldogs will play No. 14 Arizona twice, Minnesota twice, James Madison and Kent State.
