FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Drake University track and field teams collected 22 top-10 finishes and numerous outdoor personal bests at the John McDonnell Invitational, hosted by the University of Arkansas Friday evening.
 
Kundai Maguranyanga continued his strong sophomore campaign by finishing fourth in the 200 meters in 21.05 and fifth in the 100 meters in 10.56. He was joined by Viktor Peka and Aobakwe Malau in the top-10 of the 100 meters as the pair finished in sixth and ninth, respectively.
 
The women's team had strong performances in the distance events with sophomore Rachel Selva finishing fifth in the 3,000 meters with a personal best of 10:15.14 while Olivia Rogers was third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:20.25, also a personal best.
 
The field events were also fruitful for the women as Lexie Chapman was second in the shot put at 45-7 (13.89m) and sixth in the discus at 151-8 (46.22m). Christina LeMunyon notched a personal best in the pole vault by clearing 12-0.75 (3.68m) to take 10th place. Her jump was also a school record, narrowly eclipsing the Bulldogs' top outdoor mark.
 
The teams are scheduled to continue their outdoor seasons next week at the annual Kansas Relays in Lawrence, Kan.
