PEORIA, Ill. – The Drake University cross country teams competed Friday afternoon at the Bradley Pink Classic. Drake competed against 37 Division I teams in each race. As team, the Drake men placed 10
th while the women were 37
th.
Senior
Adam Fogg finished third in his season debut with a time of 23:57.3. Dais Malebana of Nebraska won the men's race with a time of 23:41.1 while Dustin Hatfield of Eastern Illinois was next with a time of 23:51.9.
Aziz Jday was the Bulldogs' next highest finisher in 16
th place with a time of 24:28.3. It was just the second career race for Jday, who is a freshman.
The Bulldogs return to action Oct. 29 at the MVC Championship in Normal, Ill.
