The Drake University women's golf team finished in 10^th place Tuesday afternoon at the Diane Daugherty Invite in Kirkwood, Mo.
 
The Bulldogs began the day in eighth but carded a team round of 321 in the third and final round to drop two spots on the leaderboard in the 16-team field. The Bulldogs finished at 313-317-321 – 951. Arkansas State won the event with a 301-304-309 – 914 on the par-71, 6,402-yard course at Greenbriar Hills Country Club.
 
Haeri Lee led the Bulldogs again on the final day with a 39-38 – 77 to finish the event in a tie for fifth with rounds of 75-72-77 – 224. Newcomer Aauyshi Sarkar had the Bulldogs' second-best round of the day with a 38-41 – 79 in a round that included back-to-back birdies on the front nine. Sarkar finished tied for 46^th at 81-82-79 – 242.
 
Drake's other three scorers all finished in the 80s on the final day at Kristen Giles tied for 49^th, Abby Marting in 61^st and Sam Paulak in 72^nd. Kelly Kavanaugh competed as an individual and finished tied for 68^th.
 
The Bulldogs return to action April 10-11 at the UNI Spring Invitational.
