CARTER LAKE, Iowa – Creighton defeated the Drake University rowing team Saturday, April 17 morning in the team's second regatta of the spring season. The Bluejays swept the Bulldogs in all five races held on Carter Lake.
 
"The team performed well but obviously not the results we wanted," said head coach Charlie DiSilvestro. "We had fine weather and always like being on the water. We move forward and will have a really strong week of training to prepare and look forward to Iowa City next weekend."
 
Drake makes the short trip east to Iowa City April 24 for the University of Iowa Regatta. The regatta will feature tough competition with the Hawkeyes, Kansas, Minnesota and Wisconsin all scheduled to compete.
