DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake men's tennis team finished hosting the Bulldog Invite at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center Oct. 7-9 as Drake battled opponents from Creighton, North Dakota and Omaha.
 
Olle Sonesson Lidholt, Will Blevins, Will Ecklund and Matthew Clegg all won at least one match as Clegg advanced to the semi-finals.
 
Friday, Oct. 7
Doubles Quarterfinals: Sonesson Lidholt and Clegg defeated Alvaro Quintana and Quintan Van Wijk of Omaha (8-6)
Doubles Semifinals: Sonesson Lidholt and Clegg lost to Edmond Aynedjian and Cian McDonnell of North Dakota (8-4).
Singles First Round: Blevins defeated Zack Maline of Creighton (6-3, 1-6, [10-8])
Singles First Round: Ecklund defeated Daniel Green of Omaha (6-3, 6-2)

Saturday, Oct. 8
Singles Second Round: Clegg defeated Alejandro Gandini of Creighton (5-7, 6-1, [10-3])
Singles Second Round: Sonesson Lidholt defeated Shin Inoue of Creighton (6-3, 7-6)
