HOLLISTER, Mo. – Amber Henson led the way for Drake women's golf on day two of Ozarks National Invitational Tuesday, Nov. 1 at Ozarks National Golf Course (Par 72). The Bulldogs are now in sixth place as a team out of 12 competing programs.
Henson (80-73-153) improved her first round score by seven strokes with a 73 in round two. She is tied for 18
th overall on the leaderboard.
Kristen Giles (73-82-155) will look to return to first round form on day three.
Aayushi Sarkar (78-77-155) has been consistent over the first two days of the tournament.
Kelly Kavanagh (82-76-158) saw a six stroke improvement on Tuesday for Drake's second lowest round of the day. Rylee Heryford (75-86-161) rounded out the Bulldog lineup. Henson and Kavanagh have both totaled four birdies.
The final round of the Ozarks National Invitational hosted by Missouri State will begin Tuesday (Nov. 2) with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start.
