BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A strong finish helped Drake University student-athlete
Isaac Basten qualify for the men's mile run final at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships at the CrossPlex Friday (March 11).
Basten finished third in his prelim heat with a time of 3:57.25. Bulldog teammate
Adam Fogg competed in the same mile run prelim as he completed the race in 4:01.85. Fogg finished outside of the top-4 in his heat to narrowly miss advancing to the mile run final.
The junior from Buffalo, Minn., will race among nine others in the men's mile run final on Saturday (March 12) at 4 p.m. inside the CrossPlex. The event will be streamed live on ESPN3.
