The Drake University softball team is scheduled to face UNI and Valparaiso this week. The Bulldogs will play a doubleheader with the Panthers on Tuesday before hosting the Beacons on Saturday and Sunday. 

Tuesday's doubleheader in Cedar Falls will begin at 2pm and game two is set to start at 4:30pm.  Saturday's series opener with Valpo is schedueld for 12pm, followed by a 2pm start for game two. The series finale will begin Sunday at 12pm at Buel Field. 

The Bulldogs home series against Valpo will also be the program's Alumni Weekend. 

The Bulldogs are coming off their second series win in a row, after defeating Indiana State, 2-1. Drake fell in game one, but won games two and three to take the series. 

Emily Valtman slammed her eighth home run of the season in game two and recorded four RBI's. She led the Bulldogs with a .500 batting average on the week and a .900 slugging percentage. 

The Panthers are on an eight game win streak after sweeping Valpo in their latest Valley series. 

UNI is led by Sammey Bunch who records a .444 batting average, 22 homeruns and four games with two home runs this season. 

Valparaiso will head to Des Moines after hosting Loyola for a doubleheader on Wednesday. 

The Beacons are on a three game losing streak after falling to UNI in their most recent conference meeting. 

Peyton Moeder leads Valpo with a .327 batting average and 17 runs this season. 

After their five games in Iowa, the Bulldogs will host UNI for a single game on Tuesday April 26, before heading to Chicago for a series with Loyola.
