INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Track & Field and Cross-Country Committee has announced the participants for the 2022 Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships preliminary competitions. Drake University track & field had seven student-athletes selected to compete in the West Preliminary hosted by the University of Arkansas May 25-28.
Drake's selected participants in the 2022 NCAA West Preliminary:
Busiwa Asinga (400m Hurdles),
Anthony Barmes (Hammer Throw),
Isaac Basten (1500m),
Adam Fogg (1500m),
Joey Harkins (Hammer Throw),
Aziz Jdai (3000m Steeplechase) and
Katelyn Williams (Hammer Throw).
The qualifiers out of the West and East regions will compete in the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which are held from June 8-11 in Eugene, Ore.
