EUGENE, Ore. -- Drake track & field student-athlete Isaac Basten has qualified for the Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Basten will compete against the nation's best in the 1500m first round Thursday, June 23 at 8:35 p.m. CT on USATF.tv. 

The Buffalo, Minn., native will return to Eugene after earning Second Team All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on June 10. Basten's personal best 1500m time is 3:39.08.
