CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Drake women's golf faced in-state and MVC opponent UNI in match play on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course. The Panthers won the friendly match, 9-7. 
 
11 of the 16 players on Tuesday are Iowa natives (including four from Drake) with many growing up player together over the years.

"It was a good experience for us to play 36 holes on a different course," head coach Steve Smith said. "It was a great day for women's golf in the state of Iowa. UNI's coaches and players were great hosts."
 
Drake women's golf will return to tournament play at The Judson hosted by Southern Miss Oct. 30-31.
