HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Drake women's golf (301-295-205--901) received another evenly dispersed output at The Judson hosted by Southern Miss at Hattiesburg Country Club for its second straight fifth place finish of the fall season on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
"This was an excellent tournament for us to end the fall season on," head coach
Steve Smith said. "We had some great play by everyone on the team at a PGA-caliber golf course (the Magnolia Classic was contested here). I'm very proud of the progress they have made this fall and looking forward to a very special season this spring."
Amber Henson (74-75-76--225) was Drake's top finisher, landing in a tie for 20th overall.
Rylee Heryford (73-76-77--226) and
Erika Holmberg (79-73-74--226) were one stroke back in a tie for 22nd.
Julie Huggins (79-71-78-228) and
Aayushi Sarkar (75-76-79-230) were both not far behind the pack.
Kate Connolly (84-76-82--242) competed as an individual.
The Drake women's golf spring schedule will be announced at a later date.
