DEBARY, Fla. – Freshman Amber Henson has led the way for Drake women's golf after day one of the Babs Steffens Invitational at DeBary Golf and Country Club on Monday, March 27.

The Bulldogs (315-322--637) are currently ninth out of 13 teams through the first two rounds. Henson (75-75--150) is tied for 10th place following day one. 

Kristen Giles (74-83--157) fired a 74 in the opening round and is now tied for 33rd. Aayushi Sarkar (79-81--160) was consistent throughout the first 36 holes.
 
Rylee Heryford (87-83--170) and Erika Holmberg (89-86--175) rounded out the Drake lineup.

Kennesaw State (296-299--595) is currently first on the team leaderboard.

The final 18-hole round will tee off on Tuesday (March 28).
