DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake softball program has announced two separate pieces of news this afternoon. The Bulldogs' new regime, led by newly appointed head coach Lindsay Diehl, now has a pair assistant coaches, Jenn Marshall and
Tina DeAngelo.
Marshall will join Diehl on the Bulldogs' softball staff after working together at Indian Hills Community College. She started assisting the Warriors in 2020 and also served as an Admission Representative in Ottumwa. Marshall was part of three Region 11 titles and a 2023 NJCAA World Series appearance during her time at IHCC. She also previously served as an assistant softball coach at Morrisville State College (2018-20) and Finger Lakes Community College (2015-18), both in New York.
Marshall earned three degrees to kickstart her career including an associate degree in athletic training from Finger Lakes Community College. She then earned her bachelor's degree from The College at Brockport and master's degree from SUNY Cortland, both in Sports Management.
Coach Diehl also announced that Drake softball would be retaining longtime pitching assistant
Tina DeAngelo on staff. DeAngelo returned to her alma mater in 2014 and was named a full-time assistant a year later. DeAngelo will continue to work with Drake pitchers.
