WATERLOO, Ill. – The Drake women's golf team teed off against the rest of the Missouri Valley Conference in the MVC Championships from Apr. 14-15 at Annbriar Golf Course.  
 
Illinois State (293-301-295—889) won the championship followed by runner-up UIC (301-300-300—901) in second and the Bulldogs (307-300-295—902) coming in third with a great two-day team performance. 
 
Amber Henson (77-72-72—221) had the two lowest rounds of the competition for the Bulldogs and led the team overall at +5 along. Julie Huggins (73-74-74—221) matched that tournament score atop the Drake scoresheet.
 
Aayushi Sarkar (76-76-74—231) also played well against and delivered a consistent score throughout the championship.  
 
Erika Holmberg (86-81-75—242) improved over the three rounds and played well to help the Bulldogs keep their bronze standing. Rylee Heryford played two rounds while Kate Connolly finished off the last round for the Bulldogs.  
 
The Bulldogs have concluded the 2022-23 campaign.
