ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Ines Stephani concluded the regular season by winning her third MVC Player of the Week award of the season, which was announced by the conference today.
 
Stephani won 6-1, 6-4 in straight sets in the number one singles spot over Belmont's Mariia Hlahola. The win was on Drake's senior day, and it was her 15th win of 2024.
 
Stephani's award is her third weekly award of the season and her second in a row. She won MVC Singles Player of the Week last week after picking up two straight-set wins, and she teamed up with Rebecca Ehn to win Doubles Team of the Week in January.
 
Stephani will lead the charge for the Bulldogs this upcoming weekend in St. Louis in the MVC Championship tournament, beginning on Friday, April 26.
