CEDAR FALLS, IOWA --   The  Drake women's distance medley relay team ran the second fastest time in school history en route to a second-place finish in the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday at the UNI-Dome.

The foursome of sophomore Casey McDermott (Newton, Iowa), junior Caitlin Able (Aurora, Colo.), sophomore Kara McCartney (Elgin, Iowa), and senior Nicole Braunsdorf (St. Francis, Wis.) were timed in 11:45.65 -- just off the school record of 11:45.99.
