DES MOINES, Iowa - Dartmouth clinched a 4-3 win over the Drake University men's tennis team Sunday, Feb. 10, afternoon at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
 
The match came down to the No. 5 singles pairing with Dartmouth's Sid Chari earning a three-set, 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 win over Drake's Calum MacGeoch to win the match.
 
Dartmouth (3-2) won the doubles point with a 6-3 win at No. 1 and a 7-6 win at No. 2 to give Dartmouth a 1-0 lead.
 
The Big Green went up, 3-0, with a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles and a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 6. However, Drake's Vinny Gillespie, Bayo Philips and Tom Hands rallied for wins at No. 1, 4 and three singles to tie the match at 3-3 before Dartmouth prevailed at No. 5 singles to emerge with the victory.
 
The Bulldogs (4-3) continue their home season next weekend starting Friday with a match against Utah State, followed by matches against Indiana and UCSB Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
