MVC Preseason Polls
The Drake men's cross country team was picked to win the Missouri Valley Conference coaches poll earning 10 first place votes while the Drake women's cross country team was predicted to finish third in the Missouri Valley Conference coaches poll. 
 
Regional Recognition
The Drake men's cross country team ranks fourth in the preseason USTFCCCA Midwest Region rankings while the Bulldog women's squad comes in at No. 12 in the USTFCCCA Midwest Region rankings.
