CEDAR FALLS, IOWA ? In a final tune-up to the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championship, both the Drake men's and women's teams competed in the UNI-Dome Open Saturday.
Freshman
Ari Curtis (Fort Collis, Colo.) won the women's triple jump at 38-5. She also was fourth in the 800 (2:19.53)
Drake junior
Josh Bangert (Washington, Mo.) won the men's 60 in 6.99 seconds at the UNI-Dome Open, while junior teammate
Augustine Agyei (Aurora, Colo.) was third in 7.02. Junior
Nate Hix (Nerstand, Minn.) won the men'striple jump (44-6.25).
Senior
Marcus Gaines (Aurora, Colo.) was second in the men's long jump (23-10), while Bangert was third (23-8.75).
