LINCOLN, NEB. -- Freshman Ari Curtis (Fort Collins, Colo.) was fourth in the triple jump, soaring 38 feet 6.25 inches, at the Adidas Classic Saturday.

Curtis came back to run the opening leg on the women's 4x400 relay which placed ninth in 3:56.21. Other members of the unit were freshman Beth Hamling (Council Bluffs, Iowa), freshman Clarris LaFlora (Kewanee, Ill.) and sophomore Caitlin Able (Aurora, Colo.)

Drake freshman Tyse Samani (Kansas City, Mo.) was sixth in the high jump at 5-5. Freshman Johanna Sprang (St. Louis, Mo.) was ninth in the pole vault (11-6.25)
